just after burns day...

...I visited the scottish parliament when up in edinburgh over the weekend. polite but firm security and then into the main chamber where you can sit and watch the action...we just missed a debate on the gaelic language and all the stairs, lifts and corridors were populated by art students messing about with charcoal. it was basically a good coffee shop five minutes away from my house, with some other pretty amazing decorative bits stuck on...there were council blocks that rubbed right up against it - from their living rooms they could probably wave at the msp's. i liked it...even the twee bits of poetry on the walls backing onto the royal mile...

bought this whilst in edinburgh at fopp - embarassed myself by asking if they still had part 1 - which doesn't exist [ho ho]. really good selection of differing styles from optimo and espacio - the clubs de jour in glasgow. the optimo website also has some good links...
